Unlike most Space Colony campaigns, this campaign is made frustrating not
through scarcity, but through abundance. In the first mission, a handful of
skilled colonists are dropped on a planet abundant in resources, and told to
mine it all in four weeks. Of course they'll hardly make a dent in it.

In the second mission, most of the skilled handful have gone home, and the
remainder have to team up with all the losers to make a huge barren planet into
a green tourist paradise; there is no time limit, and considering how long it
takes, that's just as well.

The third mission finally has an element of scarcity: living space. All the
idealist and/or space-loving characters have signed up for a mission to a planet
so small and full of volcanic activity that it would barely house three.
Moreover, because colonists easily die in the lava and keeping them all alive is
necessary for all campaigns, it's better they should stay inside as much as
possible. The only way to win and thereby end this mission is to mine an insane
amount of argon gas, so practically it could be considered open-ended.

There is (was?) a game patch "1.1" on the Firefly Studio site; some new
campaigns that can (could?) be downloaded from this site needed this patch. I
can't remember whether I patched my game executable, so I don't know if the
campaign works on any installation.
