(Your game may be installed on a different drive or in a different directory, but
the "cam" file goes in subdirectory "campaigns" and the "map" files go in
subdirectory "maps". In Space Colony HD, user-made campaigns go in "campaigns"
and "maps" under "[drive]\Users\[username]\Documents\Space Colony".)

Like the ThreeStepsCampaign, this campaign was made to be easy, but insidiously
frustrating. Where the ThreeStepsCampaign is just three long missions, each on
another planet with different colonists, this campaign, while also taking place
on three completely different planets, consists of more than twenty missions
with the same crew, some with tight deadlines. By way of rebellion against the
exploitative nature of most missions, and because the mineral deposits in the
landscape look almost too pretty to mine, this campaign introduces "the
environmentalists", a curmudgeonly lot who stand in the way of progress and
profit with their insistence on leaving the planet as it is.

The first planet has been designed to make expansive base-building impossible.
There is space for a few medium bio domes, but that space is best reserved for
tourist facilities and a chicken farming unit, leaving the colonists to inhabit
a string of interconnected small bio domes. There are plenty of resources, but
most of the time, they can't be mined.

The second planet has plenty of flat, open space, but almost no food. This is
another tourist project, only, the tourists had better not go outside because of
the pyrocyns.

The third planet is lush and green, with little nature reserves to stop the
colonists eradicating the nasties that keep attacking them. Food is not a
problem, but between the low-cost resources the planet produces and the damage
inflicted by the "fragile ecosystem", the colonists have trouble meeting their
constantly raised financial target. This set of missions is quite the challenge
when the player difficulty is set to Normal or High.

This campaign was finished in Space Colony HD, so needs either that or Space
Colony patched to version 1.1.
