update 14-12-2003: re-imported same UVmap into all sim-DK heads

This archive contains meshes and skins for the Sailor Moon
character Kunzite, fourth general of the Dark Kingdom. Most
files are edited off Maxis files: the head mesh was made from
the C015MA head, the uniform from the B805MAFit body, the cloak
from the "hero" cape and the head, body, cloak and glove skins
from the standard Maxis textures that go with these meshes. Only
the hair and epaulette meshes and skins are completely my own.

All names have a Mac-friendly maximum length of 31 characters.

NB. The hair is attached to the head and back. Normally, Sims'
hair is attached only to the head "joint" and moves with the head,
which looks ugly for long hair; this hair stays in place while
the head moves. This has two disadvantages: firstly, the hair
stays "pinned" to the shoulders when the head turns; secondly,
the hair looks rucked up in both the thumbnail and the enlarged
head that appears under the cursor. Still, I think neither is as
bad as seeing the whole hair mass move around like a slab of
concrete.

NB2. People who have watched the series attentively may have
noticed that the piping at the sides is wrong. This is because
the series itself is inconsistent. At the start of the series,
the piping goes from the neck to the sleeves and then straight
down to disappear under the belt. It's drawn this way for most
of the episodes, then, when the first two generals are dead,
it suddenly circles the sleeves on Zoisite's uniform. On
Kunzite's uniform, it disappears altogether. I thought Zoisite's
model was the most logical, so I stuck with that.

NB3. When Kunzite walks, his heels poke out through his cloak.
I tried to prevent that by using blended vertices, and only
succeeded in making a mesh that crashed the game. So I'm leaving
it this way.

Standard disclaimer:
Almost everything in this archive is either a copy of or derived from
Maxis material. This character belongs to Naoko Takeuchi and whoever
else bought rights to (translations of) Sailor Moon. No infringement
of copyright intended.

[The body mesh is horrible and I can't think why anyone would want
to reuse it, but:]
Conditions for use:
These files are being made available for fans to use in their own
installed Sims games. I don't mind the files being distributed
among friends, or skinners using/editing the meshes for their own
skins and including them in the download, provided they credit the
maker. Here's what I DO mind:

-People putting this zipfile up for download on their websites and/or
claiming they made it. (Happens to every kind of fanart...)

-Pirates who include these files on CDs which are sold for profit - and
that's not the same as someone burning a free compilation on CD and
asking a small sum to cover shipping costs. These skins are FREE!

-Goody-two-shoes types who find it necessary to make skins with a "message",
like: Meat is Murder, God Bless America, Save the Whales. That is as
disgusting as neo-Nazi swastika-shirt skins. I'll make an exception for
things like Gay Pride logos, because that's about people living their
own lives, not telling me how to live mine. Preachy types can go find
some other mesh.

-People who alter and re-distribute this zipfile, either by editing
the files (passing off your work as someone else's is as bad as passing
off someone else's work as your own) or by leaving some files out.
Missing files can crash a game, a game crash can damage game files,
damaged game files can mean a total re-install. At best, the person
trying to use the skin gets the shock of seeing the application quit.

For technical problems with these files, I wrote something called the
Sims Support Page (http://tiscali.home.nl/simania/ssp/ssp.htm). To
email me personally, put the word "gatch" in the subject line to keep
the mail out of the spambox. (In good weeks, I get 200 spam mails a
week. In bad weeks, I get 400 spam mails a week. Not kidding.)
